CloudNine Releases Substantial Update to Concordance Software Featuring New Viewer and Enhanced Performance to Greatly Improve Client Experience

New release is packed with customer-requested features including a modern, streamlined interface and accelerated production performance

HOUSTON – March 11, 2021 – CloudNine Concordance®, one of the most popular and enduring eDiscovery review platforms on the market, today released its most substantial update in five years.  The highly anticipated Concordance 10.24 release is packed with customer-requested features to improve the end-user experience for thousands of legal and eDiscovery professionals.  Highlights include a new Viewer, integration with CloudNine Review, and improved production performance, providing customers with a more modernized, seamless workflow.

New Viewer – Concordance 10.24 delivers a new Viewer to support both native and image files efficiently.  The Viewer presents a modern user interface throughout the production and printing areas along with additional navigation options throughout the Viewer.  The Viewer supports additional file types including Microsoft Office files, Outlook MSGs, and other common file types through a near-native conversion.  Providing ultimate flexibility, Concordance clients can still use the former Viewer for legacy cases.  Clients can also choose to create new databases in either the new Viewer or the legacy Viewer, based on their preference.

Seamless Integration with CloudNine Review – Concordance now easily integrates with CloudNine Review.  Clients using both technologies can easily move between applications and transfer data using CloudNine’s Discovery Portal which will be officially released soon. Clients using Concordance for Quality Assurance (QA) can easily switch to CloudNine Review or vice versa.  Typically, CloudNine customers leverage hybrid data management including CloudNine Review for active matters and Concordance as an inexpensive, on-premise repository to store inactive and archived matters.

Improved Production and QA Capabilities – The updates to Concordance bring greater efficiency to eDiscovery production, printing and QA.  Additionally, this release enables color productions, production preview and supporting transparent and opaque redactions.  These performance enhancements are available for the new Concordance Viewer, Concordance Image, and Concordance Native Viewer databases.

Concordance 10.24 and its new Viewer are being well-received by customers and end-users including Nickie Maggard, Technical Trainer at Perspecta, a CloudNine partner. Maggard remarked, “The new Concordance Viewer has greatly increased our efficiency and overall team output.  We use the software to review and redact emails for litigation and frequently, we’ll embed graphs and charts directly into emails to consolidate relevant files.  With the new Viewer, we can obtain a quality image in 99% of the files, saving the team significant time from seeking alternatives.  Great job with this update, CloudNine!”

“Concordance continues to provide our customers value as a bedrock of eDiscovery technology.  With the 10.24 release, CloudNine has transformed the software significantly into an efficient and useful application,” said Steve Vranas, SVP of Sales and Strategy at CloudNine.  “These improvements directly respond to clients who have been requesting enhancements to our Viewer and production performance along with seamless integrations to other applications both on and off the CloudNine platform.  In addition to being the chosen solution to thousands of legal professionals, Concordance is a proven, highly competitive solution on the short lists for new buyers prioritizing cost recovery.”

Improve Project Performance with New CloudNine Data Wrangler

CloudNine Launches Data Wrangler for Advanced Inventory and Prioritization of Collected Data to Improve Project Performance

Purpose-built for eDiscovery Professionals, Data Wrangler Delivers Actionable Insight into Staged Data, Reduces Data Transfer Volumes and Accelerates Project Timelines

HOUSTON – May 5, 2020 – Today, eDiscovery technology company CloudNine launches CloudNine Data Wrangler™ (“Data Wrangler”), a new software solution to inventory and prioritize collected data for enhanced processing decisions and throughput. Data Wrangler is a small footprint, on-premise application revealing detailed, actionable insight on PSTs, forensic images, directories, filetypes and data sizes. The software promises to shorten project delivery time by reducing and prioritizing data transferred to processing engines and review platforms.

To prevent workflow interruption and expedite processing, Data Wrangler will quickly detect and automate the repair of corrupt containers, split large PSTs into smaller, manageable sizes and create new PSTs without Microsoft® Outlook dependencies.

CloudNine customer, Robert Conley, VP Forensics and Strategic Operations with Rational Enterprise said, “The Rational eDiscovery team has had the privilege of previewing the Data Wrangler application and we look forward to using it to enhance our service. With a fast and complete inventory of collected data, we will be able to quickly promote the most time sensitive mailboxes and folders to processing and review. We have already identified a set of projects and clients who will benefit by adding Data Wrangler to the Rational eDiscovery workflow.”

Easy to integrate into existing eDiscovery workflows, Data Wrangler can automatically transfer selected data to CloudNine Explore™ for early case assessment and CloudNine LAW™ for data processing and production. Inherently flexible and technology-agnostic, Data Wrangler also exports results for processing in many other platforms.

Data Wrangler is the second new product CloudNine has launched in 2020. In January, the company introduced CloudNine Collection Manager™, a breakthrough data extraction solution to defensibly perform native data collections from Office 365 (O365) mailboxes and Microsoft OneDrive cloud storage files.

“This has been a pivotal year for CloudNine innovation,” said  Tony Caputo, CEO of CloudNine. “After the successful release of Collection Manager, we are proud to launch Data Wrangler which adds a new dimension to the eDiscovery process. Data Wrangler provides more intelligence to inform the preprocessing stage, optimize downstream workflows, reduce spend and produce better results.”

Jared Greene, Product Owner at CloudNine, remarked, “Collected discovery data can be challenging because when it arrives it’s essentially dark-data. CloudNine’s development team designed Data Wrangler specifically to provide deep, actionable insight into staged data.”

Data Wrangler can be purchased either bundled with other CloudNine products or as a standalone solution. For more information about CloudNine Data Wrangler or to request a demo, visit: https://cloudnine.com/ediscovery-software/cloudnine-data-wrangler/.

CloudNine Launches Collection Manager, Breakthrough eDiscovery Data Extraction Solution for Office 365 Emails and OneDrive Files

Requiring Minimal Training, Collection Manager Defensibly Collects O365 Emails, Email Attachments, and OneDrive Files, Extracting Data Directly into CloudNine Explore and Other Early Case Assessment Systems

HOUSTON – January 15, 2020 – Today, CloudNine launches CloudNine Collection Manager™ (“Collection Manager”), a breakthrough data extraction solution from the global electronic discovery technology provider. Installed in minutes, Collection Manager defensibly performs native data collections from Office 365 (O365) email custodians, as well as Microsoft OneDrive cloud storage files.

Collection Manager is easy enough for first-time collectors, yet powerful enough for discovery professionals. Collection Manager quickly and securely connects to O365 and OneDrive data sources, including documents linked from email messages, which few other collection solutions can do. The software’s wizard interface guides collectors to browse and select one or multiple data custodians, filter by date, and extract data to desired formats such as PSTs or Zip files for loose documents. Collection Manager then sends extracted files to target hard drives, jump drives, or network drives or early case assessment products such as CloudNine Explore™ and others.

Highly flexible and adaptable, Collection Manager seamlessly fits within the workflow of many eDiscovery products and automatically integrates with its sister product, CloudNine Explore. With a single click, data collectors can output data from Collection Manager directly into Explore cases, and the ingested data is automatically processed and analyzed. Explore can then be configured to automatically notify lawyers via email when data is ready to be immediately searched and reviewed.

Collection Manager joins CloudNine’s robust suite of eDiscovery software including Explore, Review™, LAW™, and Concordance®. For ultimate flexibility, CloudNine software can work as a fully integrated end-to-end eDiscovery system, or each solution can be used as an independent, best-in-breed product to fit into any eDiscovery workflow.

“CloudNine Collection Manager debuts as a remarkably powerful and flexible native collection solution for today’s enterprise collection demands,” commented Tony Caputo, CEO of CloudNine. “Collection Manager’s ability to defensibly collect and extract data from both Office 365 and OneDrive will be a “Must Have” for many of our clients. Since the software installs in minutes and requires no training, it is universally accessible for any collection project and any skill level. Our eDiscovery partners, as well as law firm and corporate clients, have been eagerly anticipating the release of Collection Manager, and we are confident they will benefit substantially from the new technology.”

“The CloudNine development team worked tirelessly to ensure that Collection Manager is capable of handling complex native collections while also being extremely easy to use,” said Doug Austin, Vice President of Products and Professional Services at CloudNine. “Collection Manager is automatically integrated with Explore but also versatile because it works within the workflow of many other eDiscovery products as well. We are incredibly proud to offer Collection Manager and look forward to assisting our partners and clients as they increasingly use the system to complete their native data collections.”

For more information about CloudNine Collection Manager or to request a demo, visit: https://cloudnine.com/ediscovery-software/cloudnine-collection-manager/. CloudNine will be demonstrating Collection Manager at Legalweek New York on February 4-6 at booth 3000.
